    We have a current opening for an Administrative Assistant for our Safety Department. This position will be located at our Long Beach, CA field office.

    The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Safety Director and provide overall support for Royal Electric’s safety program and procedures.

    Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

    • Assist with auditing, maintaining, and updating employee certifications and training records
    • Assist with enrolling employees in applicable training and tracking completions
    • Manage data entry for Department of Transportation (DOT)
    • Maintain and audit completion of safety documentation/records for jobsites
    • Create safety related documentation, materials, and communications; training certificates, forms, news/info/announcements, etc.
    • Order Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety supplies
    • Administrative Assistant to Safety Director and support to overall safety management team


    • 3+ years’ experience in administrative support role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Strong organization, attention to detail, good judgement, and communication skills
    • Ability to do research and develop policies and procedures
    • Ability to work independently and as a team
    • Must always be able to responsibly handle confidential materials/information
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
    • Strong computer skills and mastery of Microsoft programs
