  • POSITION DESCRIPTION

    We have a current opening for a Human Resources Program Coordinator at our Sacramento, CA office.

    The HR Program Coordinator role will be key in creating opportunities for our people to grow – personally and professionally. Building training and learning development programs to sustain high-performing teams, getting results the right way, and fostering continuous learning.

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor.

    Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

    • Training Development Program Goals, Budget, Resources
      • Determine and track annual program goals in partnership with the Human Resources Director (HRD)
      • Work with HRD to develop training budget and resources
      • Manage Educational Reimbursement Program
      • Administer TPS Grant
    • Training Needs Assessments
      • Work with Managers to build Competency Models to assess skill gaps and development and coaching
      • Utilize Learning Framework Tactics to assess Training Requests and Skills Gaps
    • Instructional Design and Development
      • Work with SMEs to develop E-Learning/Videos, Instructor Led Trainings, Job Aids, Reference Guides, assess technology/apps to support training and information delivery
      • Prepare and present trainings as needed
    • Training Delivery and Coordination (Non-Safety Related)
      • Coordinate Internal and External Trainings
      • Develop and share quarterly training calendar
      • Maintains records of training and development activities
    • Knowledge Management
      • Gather, organize, and share knowledge
      • Capture knowledge of Key employees Leaving
      • Share Best Practices across Individuals & Teams
    • Evaluating Training Impact
      • Implement a multilevel, systematic method for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on information about the effectiveness and effort of learning programs
    • Liaise and manage vendors who deliver learning and training
    • Metrics
      • Evaluating Training Impact
        • Gather learning program feedback, analyze metrics for all programs through Metrics that Matter and apply insights to recommendations for training improvements

    Research, analyze data, and prepare quarterly reports on HR trends, new HR project suggestions, and current program goals and progress.

  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Requirements

    • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems
    • Working knowledge of training authoring tools, eLearning, video editing, audio editing, and other emerging technologies (e.g., iSpring)
    • 3-5 Years of related HR, Talent Management, or Learning experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience
    • Project management: Experience managing projects with aggressive timelines independently
