    We have a current opening for a Workforce Coordinator at our Sacramento, CA office.

    The Workforce Coordinator will be a key component to the Talent Team; have ownership over the employee pre-boarding and onboarding, workforce development initiatives, and recruiting.

    Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

    • New Hire & Workforce Coordination
      • Ownership of pre-boarding activities for new hires; drug/background screens, partnership with hiring managers for set up, equipment needs, schedules, notice to stakeholders, etc.
      • Coordination of onboarding activities; orientation, meet & greets, acting as resource for new hires throughout process
      • Onboard at various locations throughout state and out of state
      • New Hire close out; verify collection of documents, ensure onboarding performed at remote locations meet requirements, set up of employee files
    • Dispatch Process & Coordination
      • Receive manpower needs request and submission to appropriate local union
      • Verification and communication of hiring specifics; ratios, certifications, work type, start date, location, etc.
    • Workforce Development Initiatives
      • Support, promote and coordinate the yearly internship programs; speakers, materials, schedules, etc.
      • Lead school outreach efforts, coordinate and plan presentations, maintain relationships with schools
    • Recruitment
      • Manage posts, locations, monitoring of expiring ads, etc.
      • Take on “open reqs” as assigned and participate in full recruiting process
      • Source, present for approval, and manage coordination of Job Fairs, internal events, and industry events for Royal Participation
      • Development and maintenance of marketing materials for Talent Development Team


    • 3+ years working in recruitment and onboarding capacity
    • High attention to detail and confidentiality
    • Proficient with Microsoft Suite; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
    • Ability to utilize sound judgement when dealing with sensitive and/or high stress and confidential situations
    • Excellent customer service, thorough and effective communication and follow up
    • Ability to adapt to different scenarios and be flexible in fast changing environments
    • Ability to travel to remote job locations and work outside of normal work schedules
