As a Project Manager at Birdgroup Construction, you will play a key role in managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Negotiate profitable contracts with clients, subcontractors and external vendors

· Recommend value-engineered products to enhance project efficiency

· Provide feedback on construction building materials and identify potential conflicts

· Coordinate with agencies for plan checks, review comments, and obtain approvals

· Proactively address potential construction problems, collaborating with stakeholders for resolutions

· Determine resource needs, scope of work, and materials required in collaboration with clients, engineers, and architects

· Provide upfront cost estimates and maintain budget control throughout the project

· Communicate project status through regular progress reports to key stakeholders

· Supervise subcontractors to ensure high-quality work

· Schedule construction operations and create timelines to meet project deadlines

· Acquire necessary licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with building codes

· Uphold health and safety standards, promptly reporting any safety regulation issues

Position Requirements

· OSHA 30 certification

· Minimum 7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (up to $10 million)

· Wide breadth of commercial construction experience, including public works

· Ability to direct complex projects from concept to operational status

· Estimating experience is required

· Proficiency in Procore, BidMail, and Bluebeam

· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Projects and Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Marketing and presentation skills

· Ability to create material take-offs
