Ghirardelli has been providing an independent analysis along with a detailed review confirming that our client’s and their contractor’s CPM schedules are accurate, and the logic is appropriate for the contract constraints, scope, and type of work. We are seeking a Scheduler/Claims Analyst with experience in transit projects and programs and related sectors to:

- Support development of engineers cost estimates, claims analysis and representation.
- Determine critical path method sequencing and monitoring total float values of potentially affected scope(s).
- Determine procurement / construction timelines of deliverables and assure that these timelines are properly sequenced for all parties – contractors, suppliers, subcontractors/ sub suppliers.
- Depending on the order of magnitude, all schedules shall include tasking timelines for Budget, Scope, Safety, Environmental / SWPPP, Cultural and Biological monitoring activities and both acknowledged and anticipated risks and their potential effects on the project.
- Know Client’s definition of “Working Days” in the contract – 5 days minus weekends and holidays, or 7 days per week and verify that other schedules match.
- Be familiar with AACE International Recommended Practice No. 29R-03 Forensic Schedule analysis techniques and be able to apply these to reviews of client contractor schedules and updates.
- Analyze client contractor schedules and baseline updates and develop concise reports that inform our clients and GA PMs of issues and robustness of schedules.
- Because scheduling techniques have legal implications with respect to the contractor’s ability to obtain equitable adjustments in the time and cost of performing the contract work, either through prosecution of change orders or claims, the Scheduler/Claims Analyst must be able to carefully review the scheduling provisions in the contract and report on these compared to the contractor’s schedules and updates.
