Training Pathways

As an apprentice you will learn the skills neccessary to succeed in the tile, marble and terrazzo trades.

Tri-Counties Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Program trains hundreds of quality craftsmen, offering industry-specific curriculum including heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, architectural and industrial sheet metal, kitchen equipment, specialty stainless steel work, custom fabricating, service, siding and metal roofing, testing and balancing and energy management and maintenance.

The Tri-County Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) is a jointly administered program by the Monterey Bay California Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 234.

UA Local 228 offers apprenticeship training for individuals interested in plumbing, pipefitting, steamfitting, and HVACR.

The Steamfitter and Industrial Pipefitter Apprenticeship Training Program is for five (5) years. Apprentices earn while they learn, working on the job and attending classes of related technical instruction.

The UA Local 290 Apprentice & Journeyman Training Institute offers five-year apprenticeships for plumbers, steamfitters and HVAC/R service technicians.
