Training Pathways

The International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) Local 8 offers apprenticeship training for individuals interested in elevator construction.

IBEW Local 413 Santa Barbara J.A.T.C. offers state-approved electrician apprenticeship training.

The Inside Electrical Apprenticeship is a five-year training program that consists of eight thousand hours of on-the-job training in addition to nine-hundred hours of classroom instruction held two separate weeks in the Fall semester and two separate weeks in the Spring semester, as well as 24 hours of "Study Hall".

Inland Empire Electrical Training Center (IEETC) offers apprenticeship programs for individuals interested in becoming electricians.

Ironworkers Local 118 offers a four-year program that allows apprentices to earn a living while learning their trade. Apprentices spend approximately 6,000 hours in on-the-job training, working alongside certified Journeyman Iron Workers. In addition to their on-site training, apprentices are required to complete 180 hours of classes each year.

Ironworkers Local 155 offers a 4-year apprenticeship with the opportunity to advance to journeyman status and prepares workers for a career that offers great wages and benefits. And while many in college sink into debt preparing for a career, Ironworker apprentices earn while they learn.
