Pipe Trades Training Center

The purpose of the Loyd E. Williams Pipe Trades Training Center, opened by Local 393 is to develop and maintain a highly skilled workforce by providing ongoing training opportunities.

Each year in the apprenticeship program consists of 1760 hours of on-the-job training under the direct supervision of a Journeyperson. Apprentices spend two evenings per week in class with a traditional summer break. During class, students are taught science, theory and practical application of the trade.
