How You Can Help Rebuild California

In 2019, families and communities across the state were impacted by wildfires, storms, floods, and countless other natural disasters. According to the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection, 5,600 wildfires alone burned nearly 130,000 acres of land. As a result, residents throughout California have been displaced and are starting over this holiday season. If you’re looking for ways to give back and contribute to the on-going relief efforts, here’s how the state’s construction industry is working to rebuild California.

Build California and AGC of California have proudly partnered with the American Red Cross to provide disaster relief for families directly impacted by wildfires this year. Your contributions are tax-deductible and will go toward supporting not only the immediate needs of displaced Californians such as food and shelter but will help guide communities in terms of preparation for 2020 and other potential disasters to come. In lieu of presents, providing a donation in the name of a loved one is a thoughtful gift idea.

Join us in supporting the American Red Cross. Donations of any amount will help people whose lives have been upended during this holiday season, support urgent humanitarian needs, and fund local community Red Cross programs. Learn more and consider giving by visiting “Rebuild California” here.
