Build California is a comprehensive and innovative statewide effort to inspire a new generation of construction professionals led by Associated General Contractors of California (AGC CA) through the AGC Construction Education Foundation (AGC CEF).

To successfully launch this effort, AGC CA and AGC CEF joined forces with a coalition of organizations and construction professionals passionate about the industry and establishing a steady pipeline of talent moving forward. Together, we’ve built something truly awesome and inspiring to a new generation who may have misconceptions and misinformation about our thriving industry.

Founders

AGC of California: The Associated General Contractors (AGC), the voice of the construction industry since 1920, is an organization of construction firms and industry-related companies committed to improving our physical environment through our commitment to the principles of Skill, Integrity, and Responsibility.

AGC CEF: The AGC Construction Education Foundation (CEF) is dedicated to inspiring, developing, and equipping California’s current and future construction workforce. As a 501(c)3 non-profit benefit corporation, AGC CEF relies on donations to carry out our mission, fund programs, and services while developing construction careers through increased awareness.
