Apprenticeship - Earn While You Learn Apprentices shall be under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician. Physical effort required may involve climbing, crawling, crouching, and working in cramped quarters. Wiring is frequently color coded for connection purposes. Mechanical ability and finger dexterity is essential.

You’ve already taken the first step toward this fulfilling career by coming to the official web site of the San Joaquin and Calaveras Counties Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) Apprenticeship Program, a joint training program provided by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 595 and the Northern California Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). The San Joaquin/Calaveras JATC will give you the opportunity to get the right experience for a career in the exciting electrical construction industry and you get paid while you get the training.
